 I grew up in Gallipolis, OH. I received Jesus as my personal Savior at the age of 12 at Crown City Wesleyan Church in Crown City, OH. About three years later, I experienced the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit. I attended college at Marshall University and West Virginia Bible School & College. On June 17, 1977, I married Pattie DeVault. We have two sons, Aaron and Matthew. In 1982, at the age of 25, I felt a call from the Lord to go into the ministry. In 1984, I was the assistant pastor at the First Wesleyan Church in Huntington, WV and in July of 1985, I became the pastor of my home church at Crown City Wesleyan Church in Crown City, OH. I continued as their pastor for the next seventeen years until July, 2002. During those years, we saw the church grow from two or three dozen to over one hundred in attendance. In 1992, I was able to go from being a bi-vocational pastor to a full-time pastor and in 1997, we completed a $385,000 building project. Finally, in July, 2002, after much prayer, I left the pastorate to go full-time as a General Evangelist with The Wesleyan Church. In addition to pastoring, our family quartet, The Holley Family (my wife & I and my aunt & uncle), has done evangelistic singing for the past 25 years. I sing bass and play the bass guitar in the group. Over the years I have also served the former Eastern Ohio District and now the Greater Ohio District of The Wesleyan Church on various boards and committees such as: District Director of Evangelism & Church Growth; District Board of Administration; District Camp Board; Church Planting Committee; Action Committee; Merger Study Committee; and District Nominating Committee. Although I am ordained in The Wesleyan Church, I am available for revivals, campmeetings, retreats, pulpit supply, and other special services for all groups who are interested in hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. To proclaim the Biblical message of holiness of heart and life to a contemporary society in a culturally relevant way so as to see: unbelievers experience a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for victory over sin; believers experience the infilling of the Holy Spirit for victory over the carnal nature; and entire congregations encouraged and challenged for victory over coldness and complacency.
